Key Benefits on offer: * Stability / Longevity: Permanent * Competitive salary: Circa £18.00 per hour * Day shift - 39-hour week * Overtime paying premium rates * Annual salary reviews * Christmas shutdown * 25 days holiday stat * Contributory pension scheme - 5% employer / 3% employee * Sick Pay * Exceptional team culture * …PLUS MORE Your responsibilities include: * Collaborate with senior management to organise work allocation, ensure safety, maintain quality, control costs, and deliver area metrics while supporting a team of over 15 members * Working with predominantly aluminium and various grades of steel, performing various Sheet Metal / Fabrication duties * Carrying out techniques such as deburring, drilling, countersinking, and forming * Reshape metal materials using hand tools and other equipment, including stretch forming, press brakes and bending machines. * Inspecting components to meet customer specifications using manual measuring equipment * Working to tight tolerances using thin-gauge materials * Reading and working off complex engineering drawings Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: * Proven experience managing / supervising / mentoring others, and working closely with management to uphold company standards * Strong Sheet Metal Working background * Previously worked in precision engineering industries, including aerospace, automotive, motorsport, rail, medical, FMCG, and general engineering * Capable of working with thin gauge materials from 0.8 - 3mm * Ability to perform rolling, forming, bending, cutting, shaping, pressing * Use of press brakes, guillotines, and punch presses * Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings About us: EMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist that partners with some of the UK's most prestigious, advanced, precision engineering companies within the Aerospace, Automotive / Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Green, Environmental, and FMCG industries.
