Are you a Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to begin your career as a CAD Technician within an ambitious and prosperous company, offering elite level CAD training, where you will develop your design skills and rapidly progress into more senior project positions?
In this role you will be integral to the design of customer products, using CAD to create drawings for final signoff from clients. You will also generate drawings for remakes and fabrication that are submitted to the Project Engineers for evaluation and cross checking.
Founded over 30 years ago, this company specializes in niche products, ranging from steel partitions windows and doors, and primarily supply into domestic and commercial properties. This family-run business is rapidly expanding and has become well regarded in their industry amongst their competitors.
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineering graduate, who is looking to kickstart their career as a CAD Technician, for a company that offers ample training and development, to make you a more well-rounded Design Engineer.
The Role:
Using CAD to bring customer designs to life
Producing designs for cross checking by Project Engineers
Sending drawings for customers sign off
8-5 Monday-Thursday, 8-4 Friday, 40 hours per weekThe Person
