CLAIMS HANDLER

Location: Warwick (Hybrid – 2 days from home)
Salary: £24,576 – £24,700 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

The Role of Claims Handler

As a Claims Handler, you will play a key role in managing and assessing insurance claims, ensuring customers receive clear communication and a smooth experience from start to finish. You’ll handle claims efficiently, accurately, and with empathy, maintaining high standards of service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities of a Claims Handler include:

Managing and progressing a caseload of insurance claims
Communicating with customers to explain the claims process and provide regular updates
Validating documentation and maintaining detailed, accurate records
Delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support

Skills and experience required to be successful as a Claims Handler

Experience in administration, customer service, or claims handling or assessment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Experience in insurance or motor claims is desirable but not essential
