This is a dynamic opportunity to provide expert support and advice across a range of HR activities while contributing to the development and implementation of key HR policies and procedures.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead recruitment and selection processes, including advertising, attending job fairs, and conducting interviews</li><li>Provide sound HR advice to departmental teams</li><li>Manage employee lifecycle tasks such as onboarding, changes to contracts, and leaver processes</li><li>Advise on and manage disciplinary and grievance matters</li><li>Monitor and manage staff absence</li><li>Support employee engagement initiatives, including the annual staff survey</li><li>Oversee staff inductions and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., right to work, young worker protection)</li><li>Maintain and update job descriptions and manage company benefits</li><li>Assist with training and development programmes</li><li>Ensure compliance with maternity, paternity, and parental leave procedures</li><li>Attend internal and external meetings, training, and represent the HR department as needed</li><li>Promote and adhere to Health & Safety, data protection, and company policies</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a generalist HR role</li><li>Part CIPD qualified (or working towards)</li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of employment law</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion</li><li>Assertive, diplomatic, and proactive approach to problem-solving</li></ul><p><strong>Our Values</strong></p><p>We value integrity, teamwork, accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
