Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our NIV (Non invasive Ventilation) Team based on the VIC at Aintree Hospital site. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can meet workload demands, has a strong ethos in following the organisations mission, vision and values along with excellent time management.
The candidate would need to have an excellent telephone manner as contacting patients under the NIV service will be required to arrange for post out oximetry testing. The candidate would also be responsible for the tracking of the diagnostic kit to ensure results come back to the department, laising with the sleep department for results to be analysed.
Supporting the NIV ambulatory team and NIV manager would also be part of this role ensuring that clinics are booked with outcomes completed along with new referrals added where needed. The candidate would also be responsible for reviewing NIV RTT waiters to support validation within the service.

*Arranging Oximetry diagnostic test post outs.
*Booking clinics utilising all slots.
*Outcoming clinics.
* Telephoning patients regarding appointments.

*Contact external companies regarding equiptment as and when needed.
*Support NIV patients with any consumables needed for their machines.

Person specification
Qualifications
* NVQ3 or equivalent
* RSA II or equivalent
Experience
* Experience of outpatient/booking environment
* Have demonstrable experience and knowledge of service improvement systems
Knowledge
* A good working knowledge of computers and software packages
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of local hospitals systems/ processes and policies
Skills
* Good basic numeracy skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels
* Ability to present data and information in a useful and understandable format
* Good communication and negotiation skills
