Overview
Business Development Manager (Anaerobic Digestion)
Remote-working (UK-based and local to Warwick). After 9 months in the role, travel to Warwick on a regular basis will be required.
Salary: Up to £55,000 (+ Company Vehicle + Bonus)
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using our CRM and a dynamic sales process; identify sales leads, pitch options and services, provide ROI analyses, proposals, business cases and quotations, and close deals to grow the customer base across the UK.
* Convert new business development opportunities by following a structured sales process from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
* Communicate new product or service developments to prospective and current clients; build, maintain and manage relationships with end user customers, clients and delivery partners within the allocated territory.
* Capture customer operational parameters and create quotes and ROIs using sales tools provided; balance commercial objectives, delivery and profit outcomes.
* Travel within the UK as required; leverage technical background in AD, agriculture, energy, or engineering to respond to customer requirements and sell solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of consultative or solution selling; strong technical and operational knowledge of AD plants and their subsystems.
* Proven sales success in the AD/renewable energy/agriculture/engineering sectors, achieving targets to plan and as part of a team; deep understanding of the UK AD industry, segmentation, challenges and opportunities.
* Proven commercial awareness with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively; follow a sales process and make considered decisions balancing commercial objectives, delivery and profit.
