Job Introduction
Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences. 40 hours per week / 5 days per week / Monday to Friday £16.32 per hour + any enhancements. Location: Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe.
What You’ll Do
* Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate, carrying out a range of repairs and new works to a high standard. You will be responsible for the service, installation, maintenance and testing of complex systems.
* Comply with all company and client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace.
* Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
What You Bring
* Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose and repair equipment using technical knowledge.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with building services knowledge.
* Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisational skills.
* Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
* Capable of working as part of a team or unsupervised, and of remaining calm under pressure.
