We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiopharmacy Technician to join our expanding radiopharmacy team consisting of Healthcare Scientists and Pharmacy Technicians. The role involves production of radiopharmaceuticals under an MHRA Specials Licence and assisting in the provision of the service as well as assisting in the coordination of clinical trials.

Radiopharmacy production is allocated on a rotational basis and requires a 6.00am start but with a 7am/7.15am start on non-production days. The role will include weekend work and late shifts as required.

1. Main duties of the job:
To take part in the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This will require a start time of 6.00AM for some elements of the role on a rotational basis. To communicate effectively with individuals within radiopharmacy, Quality Control (QC), Regional Quality Control Laboratory (RQCL), external customers and contractors. To develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others. To assist in the coordination of clinical trials
