VAT Accountant – (Hybrid Flexibility)

What You'll Bring
* At least 2 years’ experience in VAT compliance, preferably within a multinational setting.
* Proven proficiency in preparing VAT and indirect tax returns using Excel and tax software.
* Strong understanding of VAT legislation and compliance obligations across different jurisdictions.
* Experience with SAP or Oracle systems is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively across functions and cultures.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Additional Skills That Boost Your Profile
* Ability to assist with VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities.
* Familiarity with VAT codes management and VAT technology implementation.
* Knowledge of Intrastat, SAF-T, and other indirect tax data submissions.
* Experience in driving process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Education & Experience
* A relevant accounting, finance, or tax qualification.
* Over 2 years’ direct experience in VAT compliance within a multinational or complex business environment.
* Prior exposure to European VAT regulations or working within an international team.
Other Requirements
* This role is primarily office-based with the requirement to work in the office every Tuesday when the team is onsite. The remaining days can be flexible, with options for 50% home working.
* The position is available immediately with a 35-hour workweek.
* The interview process includes two stages: a virtual initial interview followed by an in-person case study presentation.
