Waking night shift leader

We provide individualized education and care programmes for children and young people aged 11 to 19 years, with autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Role: Waking Night Shift Leader – support young people to lead valued and fulfilling lives, maximizing their potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Ensure they are safe and supported during the night. Lead and manage a small team of waking night support staff ensuring each shift runs smoothly, and respond appropriately to any safeguarding issues while following all company policies and procedures.

• Calm and even tempered
• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or enrolled and actively engaging in the Diploma)
• A valid current driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months’ previous experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties and who can present challenging behaviour
