Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Join Guildprime Specialist Contracts Ltd and work on some of the UK's most prestigious high‑end fit‑out and refurbishment projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality and commercial sectors.
We're looking for an ambitious Assistant QS with 2+ years' experience who's ready to develop their commercial skills, gain hands‑on project exposure, and progress within a growing specialist contractor.
This role will be office based in Billericay, Essex, with Hybrid working after successful completion of probation period.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting cost control, valuations, procurement, and commercial reporting
* Working alongside experienced QS and Senior QS teams
* Assisting with subcontractor packages, variations and final accounts
* Collaborating with project and site teams on premium fit‑out projects
What We're Looking For
* 2 years' QS experience in construction or fit‑out
* Good understanding of commercial processes and JCT contracts
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (or currently studying)
* Motivated, organised and eager to progress
