We are seeking a improver bricklayer to join our team.
To work in various places throughout the North East.
The ideal candidate will have a good background in bricklaying and be semi confident in various construction techniques.
This role involves working with brick, block, and other materials to create durable structures and surfaces.
Ensuring high-quality workmanship is a must for our clients, while adhering to safety standards.
Driving licence and own transport is a big advantage for this role, but could depend on where you are based.
CSCS card is a must.
Payments through CIS.
Duties
* Lay bricks and blocks according to specifications and design plans.
* Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
* Construct walls and other structures using appropriate masonry techniques.
* Perform repairs on existing masonry work, including repointing and patching.
* Collaborate with site management and other tradespeople, such as carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and power tools.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
Skills
* Proficiency in bricklaying and masonry techniques is essential.
* Experience with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels is required.
* Familiarity with power tools used in construction is advantageous.
