About The Role
Im a young man living at home with my dad and our friendly dog. I have complex health needs, including the use of a PEG and non-invasive ventilation to support my breathing. I require 24/7 care and support and Im looking for a reliable, caring personal assistant to join my small, dedicated team.
Youd be working one day shift and one night shift per week, with the possibility of additional hours to cover annual leave and sickness. Shifts are well-structured, and youll always have support nearby if needed.
My care is a mix of clinical and personal support I need help with my daily routines, personal care, and monitoring of my equipment, as well as accessing the community.
I have a good sense of humour and enjoy being around people who are relaxed, respectful, and kind.
About You
The ideal person will live locally and be able to commit to regular shifts, with some flexibility to help cover holidays or sickness if needed. You dont need to have experience with PEG care or non-invasive ventilation full training will be provided but you do need to be confident, attentive, and willing to learn.
Youll need to be comfortable working in a home environment and respecting our routines. Being good with dogs is also important our family dog is part of the team too!
