Overview
Intervention Tutor role at Targeted Provision. Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in East Yorkshire. Multiple positions available; hiring is ongoing to meet diverse needs.
We are dedicated to transforming the quality of education for young people with SEN/SEND and other needs, including SEMH, MLD, and SLD. You will be supported throughout placements by our SEN / SEND Support Specialists and will work 1:1 with children and young people in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.

SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Young people referred by local authorities and schools may require educational and social-emotional support
* Offer flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver holistic, engaging sessions addressing educational and social-emotional needs
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (can assist with obtaining at cost)
* Two professional references
* UK-based with right to work in the UK (including remote work)

Employment Status
* Engage with us as a Worker for short-term engagements
* Contract for service; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers your work; not a self-employed position
