Your impact

* As a Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects.
* Your expertise in Primavera P6 and understanding of the NEC3/4 will be essential in developing and maintaining project schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About The Opportunity

* The Senior Planner will be responsible for:
* Project Scheduling — Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met
* Resource Management — Allocating resources effectively and efficiently to meet project demands and timelines
* Progress Monitoring — Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule
* Reporting — Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks
* Compliance — Ensuring all project activities comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards
* Risk Management — Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation
* Collaboration — Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution
* Documentation — Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records


Here’s what you’ll need

* Project Management — Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects
* Primavera P6 Proficiency — Advanced knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management
* NEC Awareness — Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in construction projects
* Analytical Skills — Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address project issues
* Communication — Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
* Attention to Detail — High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and reports
* Team Player — Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships
* Travel Flexibility — Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UK as needed
* Degree qualified and holding certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar
