THE ROLE
Bringing people together for extraordinary moments is their forte. From world-class concerts and comedy shows to thrilling sports and entertainment events their arenas are where memories are made. There is now an opportunity to work across multiple venues in a senior delivery position.
This is a broad role that includes:
* Provide strong leadership to Event Management and Support teams
* Lead operations to deliver excellence consistently across all venues.
* Ensure high-quality, compliant planning and delivery of all events, including hands-on delivery where required.
* Oversee and optimise customer touchpoints from sales through to event delivery.
* Develop and implement an Event Management strategy focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
* Manage client satisfaction, identify opportunities to enhance experience, and act on feedback trends.
* Own internal and external stakeholder relationships, including key industry groups
* Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions.
* Develop and manage departmental budgets
* Ensure full ownership and compliance of Health & Safety across event delivery.
* Monitor and optimise team efficiency and resource allocation for current and future demand.
* Collaborate with Group FM to support event delivery and communicate operational impacts.
* Manage event-related revenue, costs, and budgets, ensuring delivery against financial targets and driving improvements.
* Partner with Sales to represent Event Management in the sales process and attend site visits as needed.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to share best practices, trends, and process improvements.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have previous experience gained from a large-scale venue or within large scale event management at a senior delivery/operational position. You will be a confident line manager with excellent knowledge of H&S, crowd management and security to name a few. You will be commercially savvy and a great leader!
