Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for a fresh start and the next step in your career?
We are seeking a Childrens Therapeutic Dual Deputy Manager to join a dedicated team providing therapeutic, life-changing support to children and young people across two EBD homes. These bright, modern, family homes are located in Redditch and South of Birmingham and are home to 4 children in one and 2 in the other.
The homes feature spacious rooms and gardens, perfect for encouraging indoor and outdoor play, and promoting a caring atmosphere that gives each child a strong sense of belonging and stability.
Their approach is open, honest and grounded in therapeutic models, including Therapeutic Parenting, trauma-informed practice, and PACE as well as other positive frameworks. The onsite Therapist provides support to both the young people and the staff alike within meetings supporting their understanding of the young peoples circumstances.
As a Childrens Therapeutic Dual Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the children receive high-quality support across both Good homes. Whilst working alongside and supporting your Registered Manager, you will help maintain an environment where children feel heard, valued and understood. You will support the smooth operation of the home, deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, and model best practice for both young people and staff. You will oversee risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and the management of staff while maintaining full compliance with The Childrens Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and company policies. The RI attends the homes once her week to offer support to the Registered Manager and Deputy.
