Their services span Sandwell, Walsall, and Dudley, and they are deeply embedded in the communities they serve.
Your new role
As a Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CHISVA), you'll deliver frontline support to children and young people aged 5-18 who have experienced sexual violence. You'll provide tailored, trauma-informed interventions, manage a caseload, and support families in understanding and responding to trauma. The role also involves multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding responsibilities, and supporting clients through the criminal justice process.
This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), with travel required across the Black Country. Hybrid working is not available.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children and young people, including safeguarding.
Strong case management and risk assessment skills.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and safeguarding legislation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-agency settings.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Eligibility to work in the UK.

Salary: £24,310 - £27,751 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
