Your new company
We're working with a well-established charity that provides specialist support services to victims and survivors of abuse across the Black Country. This organisation is recognised for its trauma-informed, holistic approach and its commitment to empowering individuals and families affected by sexual violence. Their services span Sandwell, Walsall, and Dudley, and they are deeply embedded in the communities they serve.

Your new role
As a Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CHISVA), you'll deliver frontline support to children and young people aged 5-18 who have experienced sexual violence. You'll provide tailored, trauma-informed interventions, manage a caseload, and support families in understanding and responding to trauma. The role also involves multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding responsibilities, and supporting clients through the criminal justice process.
This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), with travel required across the Black Country. Hybrid working is not available.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children and young people, including safeguarding.
Strong case management and risk assessment skills.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and safeguarding legislation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-agency settings.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Female applicants only (Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).

What you'll get in return
Salary: £24,310 - £27,751 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
Mileage allowance and TOIL (Time Off in Lieu).
25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with increases after 3 years.
1 wellbeing day (pro rata) and annual leave buy-back scheme.
Access to clinical supervision and Employee Assistance Programme.
Pension contribution (5% employer).
Training and development opportunities.
Bi-annual staff away days and regular internal newsletters.
