GSL Education are currently seeking a confident and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to support students at a welcoming school in Dinnington. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in education, youth work, or social care who are passionate about promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being. Role Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them manage challenges and fully access their education. You will be part of a supportive team working to ensure every student feels safe, understood, and empowered to succeed. Role Responsibilities: Deliver tailored behaviour interventions to students in and out of class. Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and growth. Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour support plans. Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment. Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals where necessary. Requirements for Behaviour Mentor: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Patience, resilience, and a non-judgemental approach. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
