Supply Hive are supporting a school in Maidenhead who is looking for a SEN experienced Part Time Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to a Year 3 pupil with ADHD. The hours of the role involve working 11am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday, ensuring the child can fully access learning and manage their behaviour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and have a compassionate, patient approach. Responsibilities: Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum during afternoon lessons. Implement individual strategies and interventions tailored to the child’s needs. Assist with behaviour management in line with school policies. Encourage positive social interactions and independence. Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the class teacher. Support small group or one-to-one learning activities as required. Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistency of support. Requirements: ✅Proven experience supporting children with ADHD or other SEN. ✅Understanding of strategies for managing attention and behaviour difficulties. ✅Right to work in the UK. ✅DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
