As our Offices & Facilities Manager you will responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities to ensure the needs of the organisation and its employees are met. This includes managing multiple facilities across various locations and ensuringpliance with health and safety regulations.
You will ensure the facilities and services provided adequately support the staff and the wider physical areas of thepany, including parking, security and cleaning.
This role requires regular travel to AFH locations nationwide.
As our Offices & Facilities Manager your responsibilities are to:
1. Oversee the daily operations of facilities across multiple locations, ensuring all facilities are in optimal condition and operational at all times by running routine inspections.
2. Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
3. Oversee any property related projects as required, such as onboarding new sites and closure of any sites no longer required, liaising with all key stakeholders as required
4. Oversee invoicing and payment arrangements, liaising with internal accounts team, landlords and vendors as required to ensure all rent and invoices are paid in a timely manner
5. Manage relationships with all key suppliers, including maintenance and cleaning contractors ensuring the high quality and cost-effectiveness of outsourced contractors
6. Regularly review, update and test to ensurepliance with all health and safety policies and procedures and updating business policies accordingly
7. Lead and support the wider team by conducting team meetings and looking for areas in which processes can be improved
What we are looking for in our ideal Office & Facilities Manager:
8. Significant experience in a Facilities Management position
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of maintenance andpliance.
11. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
12. Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
13. Negotiation skills for negotiating contracts and for managing projects
14. NEBOSH Qualification or equivalent
15. Other professional certifications in Facilities Management (, IFMA, BIFM) are a plus.
