Senior Business Controller - Stevenage
£60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
Hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days WFH
We are supporting our client with an exciting opportunity for a CIMA Qualified Senior Business Controller to join their team in Stevenage.
This role will see you working closely with Project Managers and operational leaders to provide financial insight, drive performance, and ensure strong financial control across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the controlling team
* Manage financial planning and quarterly forecasting
* Partner with Project Managers and lead monthly project reviews
* Analyse financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
* Monitor project expenditure and revenue recognition (PoC & T&M)
* Reconcile work-in-progress and oversee contract status reviews
* Deliver accurate financial reporting to senior leadership
* Support bid proposals, cost rates, and commercial decision-making
Requirements
* Fully qualified CIMA / ACCA (or equivalent)
* Minimum 7 years' experience in financial management or controlling
* Experience working with complex work packages or project environments
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* SAP experience, ideally SAP S/4HANA, would be advantageous
