I’m working with a fantastic provider who is looking to appoint a Registered Manager for a well-established Family Assessment Centre based in Walsall, set in a lovely, calm location that genuinely supports positive outcomes for families.
The service is rated well, has a stable and experienced staff team, and provides high-quality assessments in a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment. This is very much a well-run service, not a turnaround role.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for:
* an experienced Registered Manager
* a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step
You will be responsible for:
* the overall leadership and management of the Family Assessment Centre
* ensuring high‑quality, child‑focused and family‑centred assessments
* maintaining Ofsted compliance and strong safeguarding practice
* leading, supporting, and developing a committed staff team
* working closely with local authorities and multi‑agency professionals
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
* experience within a Family Assessment Centre and/or children’s residential services
* a good working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
* strong leadership, organisational, and decision‑making skills
* confidence managing quality, compliance, and staff teams
