š¼ About the Role
At its core, the Editorial Project Manager safeguards the integrity of the process, not the prose: creating the structure and accountability that allow all contributors to do their best work while keeping the project on track.
* Coordinate and balance 60-80 concurrent projects, ensuring all stages progress smoothly and on schedule.
* Act as the primary contact and operational liaison between the client, writer, designer and internal team.
* Build trusted relationships with clients via phone call and email, acting as a calm, confident, and empathetic guide throughout the customer journey.
* Drive client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
* Troubleshoot challenges that arise during production, help identify practical solutions and elevate where necessary.
* Identify, present, and close upgrade opportunities within your project portfolio.
* Handle complex conversations, feedback, and sensitive subject matter with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
* Ensure final outputs meet StoryTerraceās editorial and production benchmarks (without being a handsāon editor).
š About You
* At least 1ā2 years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fastāpaced environment.
* Strong customer service background with confidence handling emotionally complex work.
* Commercial awareness and experience identifying or supporting upsell opportunities.
* Proven ability to manage stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
* Comfortable working with systems, new technologies, and AIāenabled tools.
* Proactive problem solver, calm under pressure, and confident working independently.
* Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated by delivering meaningful outcomes.
* Excellent written English; strong editing or writing skills are a bonus.
* Must be based in and eligible to work in the UK.

* Annual base salary range Ā£27,500 ā Ā£30,500 based on experience, with bonus & commission scheme.
* 25 vacation days + 8 bank holidays.
