Highway Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Highway Maintenance Manager with experience in all aspects of highway maintenance. This role is on a contract basis, initially for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team responsible for all routine and cyclical highway maintenance activities
* Lead officers responsible for planning varied programmes of works at the appropriate frequencies across circa 3,000 km of highway
* Responsible for managing a large maintenance budget, both revenue and capital
Requirements
* Thorough knowledge of highway design, project management techniques, construction, maintenance and drainage; knowledge informed by industry best practice, national standards and design guides such as the Design Manual for Road and Bridges / the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works.
