The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying your process, domain knowledge, and experience. You will also assist in effective management of customer relationships, including liaison with existing and new customers.
* Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
* Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.
* Manage communication of task and project risks.
* Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation, and technical reports.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based at Whitehaven, Cumbria, with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Essential Experience
* Experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.
* Demonstrable experience handling a variety of tasks with different complexities.
* Good communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.
Qualifications
* Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
