MPA Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in Ballygawley to recruit an Accounting Technician.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts, including ledger review, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysisProcessing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including annual P60 and P11D reportingManaging daily bank activities such as reconciliations, payment processing, and cash flow forecastingHandling accounts payable, ensuring invoices are approved, processed accurately, and VAT is correctly appliedManaging accounts receivable, including sales invoicing and credit controlCompleting HMRC filings, including VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and Intrastat reportingProducing statistical reports for the Department of Finance and other stakeholdersPreparing financial reports for management reviewLiaising with external auditors during the annual financial auditSupporting with ad hoc finance duties as requiredCandidate RequirementsAAT/ATI qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Experience with Sage 50 Payroll or similar payroll systemsExperience using Sage 200 or Sage 50 accounting softwareStrong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressureHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitySalary & Benefits£28,000 £32,000 (negotiable depending on experience)Private healthcare after 6 months serviceOnsite parkingWorking hours:MondayThursday: 8:30am 5:30pmFriday: 8:30am 3:00pmBenefits:Medical Aid / Health CareWHJS1_NI
