About the Role
We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Kintore. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and supporting smooth and timely delivery of products to customers.
This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities:
7. Coordinate import and export shipments, including planning and execution
8. Prepare and manage shipping documentation (. commercial invoices, BOL, AWB, CMR)
9. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements
10. Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders
11. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, tracking, and delivery coordination
12. Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or issues (. damaged goods, documentation gaps)
13. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
14. Support audits and ensure adherence to internal compliance policies
Additional responsibilities:
15. Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to align shipment schedules
16. Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and documentation accuracy
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
17. Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination
18. Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms
19. Experience with international transport (sea, air, and road)
20. Familiarity with shipping documentation (. CIPL, BOL, AWB, CMR, MRN)
21. Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
22. Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
23. Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications:
24. CILT or similar logistics-related certification
25. Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR)
26. Experience working within UK customs processes
27. Previous experience in a similar international environment
