Individual/Couple Required for Private Country Estate, Norfolk
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Estate Gardener to help run our private country estate about six miles north of Norwich, together with general maintenance and domestic help in the Hall.
The majority of the estate is parkland/woodland, but it also has beautiful walled gardens, large glasshouse, formal lawns, parterre, mixed beds and borders, roses, wisteria, trimmed hedges, an orchard, lake and productive kitchen garden. Woodland management takes up most of the winter months.
The successful applicant/s will be very hands on and totally trustworthy and reliable, energetic and physically fit. PA1/PA6 spray certificates and chainsaw licence are preferred, as is a driving licence. There is a wide range of ground care machinery available including professional ride-ons, chainsaws, toppers, and large tractors – as well as the usual range of horticultural tools and implements.
The Hall is a Grade II listed seven bedroom property situated in the heart of the estate. In terms of domestic help you will need to be organised, able to plan and prioritise your workload and work alongside the owners who live in the Hall.
These are permanent, employed, positions with the benefit of pension contributions and paid holiday entitlement.
