We are looking for a seasoned field sales professional with a passion for pets looking for an educational based consultancy sales role selling into specialist pet retailers and veterinary surgeons. Unusually, previous experience in this field is not required, but you must be able and willing to cover a large region, which will involve some overnight stays.
The Role of Field Sales Account Manager, FMCG Pet Food Products
We're looking for a Field Sales Account Manager to join our rapidly-growing client to expand their brand in the South East and East Anglia. It is the most successful patch in the UK, but there is tonnes of potential. The products are expensive and considered to be the highest quality available, with numerous quality accreditations and recommended by highly experienced veterinary professionals.
This is a dynamic, home-based field sales role where you'll manage a portfolio of existing accounts with major pet retailers, major multiples and veterinary practices, while also seeking out and building new business. You'll also work closely with proprietors of small independent specialist retailers, building lasting relationships with a friendly, consultative approach.
What is Needed to Apply for the Role of Field Sales Account Manager, FMCG Pet Food Products
At least three years of field sales experience, with a proven track record in sales, journey planning and effective territory management. Experience in the pet industry is a plus.
A confident, intelligent, and highly driven individual with strong business acumen and a talent for building relationships. You should be a team player who is motivated to exceed expectations.
You must genuinely love animals and have a true passion for what you do. We're looking for someone with a "zest for life" who is determined to be the best. Your attitude, aspirations, and ambition are what matter most.
In Return You Will Receive
* £40,000 basic salary, rising to £45,000 after six months.
* On-Target Earnings (OTE): £51,000.
* Car Allowance: A generous £8,400 per year.
