Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer – Power Electronics Hardware Location: Norwich

ARCA is partnering with a key client to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer to support the development of power electronics hardware across a range of cutting-edge technology projects. This is a hands-on role working under the guidance of the Lead Electronics Engineer, with responsibility for delivering robust, high-performance designs that meet control, sensing, communication, and thermal requirements.
You’ll play a critical role in delivering reliable hardware solutions for advanced propulsion, mobility, and industrial systems.
Lead hardware design activities across multiple power electronics projects
Develop and validate analogue and digital circuitry for control, sensing, and communications functions
Work closely with the Lead Electronics Engineer to align designs with system-level requirements
Support prototype bring-up, test planning, and fault-finding using lab equipment
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure successful hardware integration
Strong background in power electronics hardware design (inverters, converters, motor controllers, etc.)
Experience with analogue/digital signal conditioning and high-speed communications interfaces
