Overview
We are looking to grow our team of Bank Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Working on our bank allows you the flexibility of a zero hours agreement, whilst being part of one amazing team. A variety of shifts are available, covering both day and night duties in different wards and departments. This role is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants should be aware of the requirement to independently obtain ongoing right to work in the UK beyond the expiry of any temporary or time-limited permissions, and evidence may need to be shared with the HR Team.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team.
* Support safe staffing levels by being available to work several shifts a week and be flexible in booking shifts, with reallocation as needed by the hospital.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Have experience in health care.
* Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
* Have an eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate documentation.
* Be flexible and willing to work across a variety of wards within the organisation.
* New to care with a genuine interest in a career with the NHS are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training and a full care certificate induction are provided.

* As a Bank Worker, the engagement is day-to-day in nature; you may choose whether to accept engagements. This does not constitute a contract of employment.
* Applicants should understand the role relates to the equivalent substantive position and you would be expected to operate within the job description while engaged by the Trust.
