About the role:
We are recruiting a Process Manager to oversee operations within the National Hub, reporting directly to the Operations Management Team. The role ensures the safe and efficient processing of traffic in the Hub's sortation areas, promoting teamwork, safety, and operational efficiency. The position requires managing your own time and covering all hub areas, totaling 45 hours per week across five shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure effective planning and deployment of operational resources according to work area needs.
2. Ensure staff receive adequate and ongoing training.
3. Report equipment defects promptly.
4. Achieve or exceed KPI targets.
5. Make proactive decisions for colleagues, customers, and operations.
6. Deliver quality service adhering to SOPs for consistency.
7. Prepare and complete daily operational shift reports.
8. Comply with the Company Code of Conduct.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. At least 1 year in a comparable or acting management role.
2. Experience managing teams of 20+ operatives.
3. Knowledge of resource management, deployment, and staff development.
4. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
