We are seeking a motivated, professional, and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our NHS Talking Therapies service.

The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our staff, service users and those attending our sites.
Main Duties
Post holders will work in the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Talking Therapies service and provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to service users who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems.
* Provide specialist CBT assessment and therapy
* Offer advice and consultation on clients psychological care to colleagues
* Work to NICE recommendations and within British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) professional guidelines
Person Specification
* Post Graduate Diploma level qualification in Psychological Therapies Practice (High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or equivalent
* Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competencies required
* BABCP accredited or eligible for BABCP accreditation
