Job Title: SEN Teacher – Wirral Area
Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher seeking rewarding opportunities in the Wirral region? We are currently recruiting passionate and flexible SEN Teachers to work across primary schools in the South East England area. This role offers a variety of placements, including day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and ad-hoc assignments, giving you the flexibility to choose what suits your availability.
As a SEN Teacher, you will work with children and young people who need additional support or require an advanced learning programme to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for pupils with diverse needs. This may involve working with individuals with physical disabilities, sensory impairments such as hearing or visual impairments, speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties like dyslexia, or conditions such as autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs. You may also be supporting gifted and talented students.
Key to this role is your ability to identify individual student needs, motivate pupils with engaging teaching methods, and maintain classroom control. You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to all abilities while liaising with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of education and care. Staying current with curriculum developments and safeguarding policies is essential.
The ideal candidate will hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or an equivalent overseas qualification, with experience in SEN settings. A fully enhanced DBS registered on the update service, references covering the last two years, and the right to work in the UK are also required. Experience with SEN is highly desirable.
This role offers competitive rates of between £140 to £200 daily, weekly pay, and no payroll charges.
