Are you a friendly, motivated and pro-active dietitian looking for a new challenge? An exciting fixed term opportunity has become available for a Team Lead Dietitian within United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful applicant will provide adult inpatient dietetic cover to patients at Lincoln County Hospital as well as Team Lead duties for a team of three dietitians and two dietetic assistants. The successful applicant will be supported by the Band 8a Inpatient Operational Lead. This exciting role would be perfect for a dietitian with significant post-registration experience, who has experience of managing the dietetic treatment of patients with a range of conditions, preferably including complex nutrition support. The post would suit somebody who is able to effectively prioritise and manage a busy caseload and is happy supporting others to do the same, whilst supporting the team’s clinical and service development needs. The Dietetic Service at United Lincolnshire Hospitals is very friendly and, and in addition to clinical duties, there is scope for service development and within this role, with the clinical caseload accounting for around 70% of the role. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape the service, contributing to the development of new ways of working, policies and guidelines. The service provides support to adult inpatients, including medical and surgical patients, stroke, neuro rehab and those requiring complex nutrition support. Whilst the clinical caseload of the post-holder is negotiable depending on experience, an interest and competence in nutrition support, including parenteral nutrition would be an advantage Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area.
