Sign Solutions, founded in 1998, provides interpreting and translation services to the Deaf community across the UK. Our mission is to provide access and combat inequality by enabling people of different languages, cultures, and communities to talk to each other. We offer face‑to‑face and pre‑booked video interpreting, Deaf Awareness Training, Access to Work support for Deaf employees, BSL translations, and our on‑demand video interpreting platform, InterpretersLive!, providing instant communication between Deaf and hearing people through qualified British Sign Language interpreters. All services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Applicants must be UK residents, must have permission to work in the UK, and must hold or undertake a DBS check for roles within Sign Solutions.
About the Role
Provide BSL interpreting both face‑to‑face and remotely, predominantly within the medical sector in Bristol / South West. You may also work with a broad range of clients in the private and public sector, as well as individual Deaf clients. Opportunity to work on InterpretersLive! service on pre‑booked and on‑demand assignments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Take on face‑to‑face interpreting assignments
* Take on video interpreting assignments
* Deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
* Report to Head Interpreter and Line Manager
* Maintain CPD
* Abide by NRCPD code of conduct
* Work well within the interpreting team
Qualifications
* NRCPD registration RSLI / TSLI
* Enhanced DBS
* Experience working in the medical sector is desirable
* A full driving licence is essential
