Job Overview Join Our Security Team at Frimley Park Hospital! Are you looking for a rewarding career in security where you can make a real difference? Frimley Park Hospital, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking dedicated Security Team Supervisor to join our busy team in Frimley. As a Security Team Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Please note this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the post. Main duties of the job Your Responsibilities Will Include Protecting hospital buildings and staff, ensuring compliance and efficiency at all times. Daily Supervision of Trust Security Team. Assessing risks and making informed decisions to support colleagues and visitors. Ensure that Security Officers are carrying out their duties and that shift patterns and staffing levels are maintained at all times. Carry out appraisals and manage sickness reports within the Security team and report finding to Security Manager. Generating reports both electronically and in written form—good English language skills are essential. Upholding NHS values and delivering a high standard of service. Level 3 NOCN Security Supervisors qualification or equivalent experience. Desirable criteria Educated to degree level or experience gained to equivalent level through work. SIA Licence and qualifications. Experience Essential criteria Dealing with customers / public. Previous experience in a security role. Previous experience in developing new procedures. Previous security supervision experience. The post holder should have a NHS or equivalent experience Experience of undertaking Staff performance and development reviews. Experience of dealing with customer conflicts. Experience of investigations and liaising with police. Desirable criteria Previous experience working in security in large organisation. White belt Sigma 6 training. Conflict resolution. Skills & Knowledge Essential criteria Good communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal skills. Working on own initiative, and decision making. Ability to work and concentrate under pressure and cope with sensitive and sometimes disturbing incidents. Good observational skills and ability to analyse visual information. Working to a set shift pattern and may be expected to work outside normal working hours. Customer care skills. Understanding of information governance and confidentiality. Ability to communicate with all levels of Staff, Patients and visitors. Able to liaise with and instruct staff effectively. Knowledge of infection Control and impact on service delivered.
