With a solid understanding of multiple technical disciplines including hardware, software and mechanical; the successful Principal Systems Engineer will be the primary technical authority, leading the system integration and validation activities for complex Satellite Communications products.
Bringing a strong academic background in an Electronic Engineering related discipline and commercial experience gained within technology development in a Defence, Consultancy, Communications or similar Electronics environment, you will balance innovation with structured processes to deliver top quality solutions.
Applicants should bring the following:
* Expertise in Systems Engineering incorporating RF and/or High Speed Digital design.
* Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
* Extensive System architecture design experience.
* Strong Leadership skills.
* Some experience of Satellite Communications technology (High Frequency ,Digital IF, High Power amplifiers) beneficial.
* Career in Defence / Technical Consultancy / Electronics Product Development.
* Experience of collaborating across multidisciplinary teams including digital electronics, software and mechanical.
