Senior Care and Support Worker
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Pay: £14.54 per hour (£28,369 per annum)
Location: St. Joseph's Blundell Avenue, Freshfield, Formby, Liverpool, L37 1PH
Qualifications
* At least 12 months experience working in a comparable role.
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to gain Level 3.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills.
* Good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred care that reflects individuals’ needs and preferences, maintain a homely environment, and conduct monthly care plan reviews.
* Administer medication to service users in accordance with care plans and safety procedures.
* Supervise and oversee a team of Care and Support Workers, reporting staff management issues to the Manager while providing hands‑on support.
* Prepare clear, precise and structured reports for Annual Review meetings, key working sessions, and audits.
