Our client manufactures rubber mouldings for industrial, commercial and military applications. Due to expansion, they are looking to grow the team, offering a brilliant opportunity for a process engineer to support the development of new production parts within rubber moulding.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Develop and document manufacturing processes for rubber moulding and associated assembly operations.
* Support new product introduction by defining process parameters, workflows, and collaborating on tooling and feasibility.
* Apply technical expertise across moulding methods, material testing, bonding processes, and tooling development.
* Provide production support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth process handovers.
* Manage projects and quality requirements, ensuring products meet safety, performance, and customer standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge of injection, compression, or transfer moulding (experience across multiple methods preferred).
* Hands:on, practical mindset with willingness to learn and operate manufacturing equipment.
* Ability to assess and interpret quality characteristics of rubber components.
* Experience in fast:paced production environments, ideally with a background in plastics or moulding.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical problem:solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
