Role Overview
As an Isuzu Truck Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of LCV and HGV models, including the award-winning LCV Grafter and the HGV Forward range of Trucks. You'll work with advanced diagnostic tools and ensure all procedures meet DVSA, LOLER, and GB Type Approval standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on Isuzu LCVs and HGVs
* Interpret DTC codes and apply structured workflows for resolution
* Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and safety checks
* Complete warranty documentation and invoice descriptions to audit-ready standards
* Ensure all work complies with current UK/EU legislation and dealership protocols
* Collaborate with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to optimise workflow
* Maintain accurate records via work pads and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance (LCV/HGV focus preferred)
* Proven experience with SCR/AdBlue systems and Euro VI diagnostics
* Strong understanding of DVSA, LOLER, and GB Type Approval compliance
* Ability to interpret technical bulletins and apply procedural updates
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
* Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Car Driving License essential and a HGV driving License is Advantageous

Salary: Starting from £30, Overtime + Benefits (Rates Negotiable depending on demonstratable experience)
