We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Red Neighbours Coordinator.
In this role, you will work with the Red Neighbours and Volunteer Manager to ensure that the Red Neighbours programme and partnerships in areas surrounding our Anfield, Kirkby, and Melwood homes continue to grow organically in line with community needs.
The work we do extends beyond physical activity sessions; building relationships and social interactions are vital, with sessions designed to foster this.
What will you be doing?
1. Working alongside the Community Delivery Manager to ensure that the Red Neighbours priority areas remain key focus of delivery:
* Food Poverty and Education
* Social Isolation
* Physically Active Community (for older people)
* Creating Memorable Experiences for Young People
* Manage existing delivery partnerships and nurture new ones.
* Ensure quality, safety, and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained.
* Work closely with local stakeholders to meet community needs.
* Engage with hard-to-reach groups within diverse and deprived communities.
* Help increase engagement of marginalized groups across all programmes.
* Ensure effective collection of monitoring and evaluation data.
* Record data on LFC Foundation databases.
* Ensure case studies and PR opportunities are regularly undertaken in line with Club and Foundation guidelines.
* Provide an inclusive environment following our Red Together Strategy.
* Contribute content for Red Neighbours and LFC Foundation social media channels.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you will have experience delivering multi-sport and/or PE sports sessions, with relevant qualifications in designing and facilitating physical activities, such as walking netball, chair-based exercise, and football coaching. You should have experience in initiatives aimed at improving physical activity and reducing social isolation, especially within diverse and deprived communities. Knowledge of how to reduce social isolation is essential.
You will also have experience working in partnership with charities, voluntary organizations, and other stakeholders in a community setting, with skills in organizing community-based events. A network of contacts to support initiatives and strong administrative skills to support participant registration, safety reporting, and safeguarding documentation are required.
