Contracts Manager – Yeovil

With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Contractor, who are looking for a Contracts Manager based in Yeovil.
Our client, a contractor who oversees planned works for the social housing sector, is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee a contract covering Somerset and Dorset.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of a contract, maintaining and upgrading properties.
* Providing line management support to trades working on the contract.
* Planned, reactive maintenance or FM experience essential.
* Carry out surveys and H&S inspections.
* Client-focused role, on site and building relationships.
* Excellent communicator.
* Strong IT skills.
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
* Construction-related qualification desirable.
* Experience of managing maintenance and trades teams.
* Experience of managing a large-scale maintenance contract.
* Experience of working with strict processes and procedures.
* Experience of responsive repairs and being measured on response time.
* Good technical building knowledge and understanding.
* Computer literate – Microsoft Office programmes.
* Full driving licence.
