Role: PLC Controls Engineer
Location: East/Central England (remote role with travel across the UK & Northern Ireland)
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a PLC Controls Engineer to join a forward-thinking company where you'll be working on high-impact infrastructure and utility projects. You'll be instrumental in programming, commissioning, and delivering automation systems critical to environmental and energy networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program and develop PLC software (experience with Schneider, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Omron desirable)
* Design and implement logic/flow diagrams for system automation
* Troubleshoot, test and commission PLC systems both off-site and on-site
* Support the configuration and commissioning of automation/control devices
* Modify existing programs per client or site specifications
* Provide technical support to field teams and assist in improving automation processes
* Participate in the on-site commissioning of electrical and electronic systems
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in PLC programming
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience in the water or wastewater sector
* Familiarity with electrical control panels and process automation
* Experience with automation & process control equipment
