Through our partnership with Glen Lyon coffee we make the best coffee in town and as a community enterprise it is also the most cost effective.
The Birks Cinema is an ambitious outward-looking community enterprise in the heart of Aberfeldy in rural Perthshire. A world class independent cinema programme will always be at the heart of what the building offers to its community and visitors. The cinema incorporates a café split over two levels that offers cinema snacks, refreshments, lunch and evening meals. Our additional focus is to improve the lives and well being of the community we serve by providing a social hub and space for local groups to run activities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a coffee shop or similar environment but the main criteria is that the successful applicant must be enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent customer service. We also welcome people who are passionate about food and films and willing to contribute ideas. This role would suit a person with a flexible approach and a cheerful 'can-do' attitude.
