Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
1. Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of electrical power systems.
2. Managing and analyzing the electrical load budget.
3. Developing and validating electrical models.
4. Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on power system matters.
5. Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations.
6. Developing and mentoring team members.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
* Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
* Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions.
* Experience with electrical load budget and load flow analysis.
* Understanding of power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB).
* Stakeholder management experience.

The Electrical Verification Team:
As part of this team, you will verify and validate power systems, conduct analyses, and perform calculations to support the electrical platform's design and maturity.
