Portsmouth based, PO6Up to £37,500 dependant upon experience, plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), paid lunch break, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work schemeAbout the RoleAs an experienced Kit Cutter for UPCS, you will be instrumental in our automotive manufacturing operations, utilizing Zund machinery to prepare precise composite kits that keep our supply chain moving. You will act as a proactive collaborator within our team, taking pride in your work and contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions for our customers.As part of your key responsibilities youll:Be responsible for the supply and control of cut kits for laminating as per the work scheduleBe responsible for stock control and storage of composite materialsAdhere to all quality standardsDigitise templates to provide accurate kitsIdentify and implement efficiency gainsLiaise with the material buyers and ensure a clear understanding of stock is known by all relevant partiesAbout YouWed love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think youd be able to perform well in this role!Composite kit cutting experience OR a similar roleExperience with Zund and Blackman and White Kit Cutting machinesExperience with draft sight desirableExperience of handling composites materials, its out life and its correct handlingAbility to work independently, to be self- driven and able to set and monitor own goalsCompetent use of Microsoft suiteAbout UnipartWe are a supply chain performance improvement partner.
