What you will be doing
as a Senior Process Specialist:
1. Lead root cause investigations and drive effective resolutions to pollution incidents.
2. Identify faults and implement proactive improvements using data and site insights.
3. Ensure full compliance with statutory and environmental permits.
4. Analyse flow data to boost treatment efficiency and reduce storm discharges.
5. Collaborate on technical design queries with project delivery teams.
6. Optimise processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
7. Represent technical expertise in compliance meetings and reports.
8. Mentor and coach operations teams, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
9. Participate in an on-call rota, providing expert advice during incidents.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative process solutions.
11. Manage data collection for regulatory reporting and stakeholder requests.
Base Location: Crawley (STW) - RH10 3NW
Work Pattern: Hybrid - 36 Hours per Week (Mon-Fri)

18. Superb time management skills, able to self-organise and be a true self-starter who is comfortable lone working on site.
19. Full, UK driving licence is mandatory, with access to your own transport and business-use insurance (car allowance is provided)
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
20. Proven experience in wastewater treatment process science and engineering.
21. A strong knowledge of environmental regulation is desirable.
22. A BSc degree in a science or engineering discipline is highly advantageous.
