We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven TUPE Coordinator to take ownership of the end-to-end TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) process across the business. This is a specialist role that sits at the intersection of employment law, people operations and cross-functional project management, requiring someone who can work accurately under pressure, manage complex data and communicate with confidence across all levels of the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Mobilisation, Recruitment, Payroll and the wider People & Culture team, you will ensure that every transfer whether into or out of the organisation is handled compliantly, consistently and with genuine care for the employee experience. No two TUPE transfers are the same, and this role demands someone who thrives on complexity, takes ownership of their workstreams, and brings calm professionalism to even the most time-critical situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TUPE & Transfer Management
Lead and coordinate TUPE transfers (in and out), ensuring full legal compliance
Manage due diligence, validating and maintaining accurate employee data
Prepare and quality-check data for payroll and HR systems
Oversee timelines, documentation, consultation support and post-transfer actions
Produce compliant employee communications and transfer documentation
Maintain trackers, records and audit-ready documentation
Identify and escalate risks with clear solutions
Stay up to date with TUPE and employment law developments
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Act as the main TUPE contact for managers, employees and stakeholders
Work closely with Payroll, Recruitment, Operations and Mobilisation teams
Support managers during consultations with practical TUPE guidance
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to project planning and mobilisation activity
Compliance & Data Protection
Ensure compliance with TUPE, employment law and UK GDPR
Support audits with accurate, well-maintained records
Handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality
Maintain high standards across all documentation and processes
Support governance frameworks and compliance controls
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Experience in HR/ER with end-to-end TUPE involvement
Strong knowledge of TUPE and UK employment law
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Willingness to travel
Desirable
CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
Experience in complex or multi-site organisations
Exposure to mobilisation or contract transitions
Understanding of payroll integration in TUPE
